Ascidians of Indian coast: Diversity, Biology, Ex-situ and Invitro propagation
Ascidians are marine, soft-bodied, sessile, benthic invertebrates that possess chemical means of defense, which is employed to protect themselves from predators. This ability is taken advantage of to discover drugs/lead compounds that are cytotoxic as well as antibiotics nature.
